unusual beginnings
After a successful launch of Collette Clothing right outside the gates of the University of Arizona, owner Amy Jesionowski was looking for the next step. Assuming it would be to expand to a new location in a new city, she almost overlooked the opportunity right in her own back yard. When a space opened up in Main Gate Square, Amy was curious about what would go in. Would it be a direct competitor? That's when the light bulb went on. Not if she could help it. And that's when her expansion plans went from a new city to four doors away! As Amy puts it, owning two stores on the same street allows her to explore the different fashion sides of the same girl. After all, we all know as our mood changes so does our outfit!
